Power
Binoculars that are 10x50 are ten power. They will allow you to see at 100 yards as though you were 10 yards away. This is probably the single most important factor in your decision. For NASCAR you want to look at binoculars that are in the 7 - 12 power range, the higher the number the better.

Lens & Pair
The pair of binoculars should be multicoated (which means brighter images). There are varying types of optical coatings for binoculars. With multi-coated lenses, the light transmits better than with single-coated lenses. However, they are not superior to fully multi-coated binoculars, which have the best contrast and light transmission.


Focus
There are three types of focus methods found on binoculars today. "Permafocus" and "Instafocus" are trademarks of the first type. These are pre-focused for you and can save you time. Second is a center rocker-arm focus. This is not quite as fast but will generally give you good results. Third is the center barrel focus where you twist a knob. This type is the slowest of the three.

The quick center focus, which lets you zoom in on your target fast. When you’re watching a race, you’ll want to be able to find your favorite driver at any given point in time

Size
The size of the binoculars can make quite a difference in how comfortable and convenient they are for you to use. Smaller, lighter binoculars will be much more comfortable hanging around your neck for four or five hours. Given two binoculars that are equal in every other way, take the smaller ones.

Drive Information

Three motor vehicle bridges cross Tampa Bay to Pinellas County: the Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275), the Courtney Campbell Causeway (SR-60) and the Gandy Bridge (US 92). The old Gandy Bridge was completely replaced by new spans during the 1990s, but a span of the old bridge was saved and converted into a pedestrian and biking bridge renamed The Friendship Trail. It is the longest overwater recreation trail in the world.

There are two major expressways (toll) bringing traffic in and out of Tampa. The Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway (SR-618) (also known as the Crosstown Expressway), Runs from suburban Brandon at its eastern terminus, through Downtown Tampa, to the neighborhoods in South Tampa (near MacDill Air Force Base) at its western terminus. The Veterans Expressway (SR-589), meanwhile connects Tampa International Airport and the bay bridges to the northwestern suburbs as Carrollwood, Northdale, New Port Richey, and Brooksville.

Three interstate highways run through the city. Interstate 4 and Interstate 275 cut across the city and intersect near downtown. Interstate 75 runs along the east side of town for much of its route through Hillsborough County until veering to the west to bisect New Tampa.
